In August, I was invited on the Robert J Russell show to talk with Dallas about Home Staging, what it is, who needs it and how it can help sell your home in the Real Estate market in Texas. In case you didn't get a chance to tune it, here is the link to the show! Enjoy!

Staging Your Home to Sell vs. Staging to Enjoy Everyday Living
In today’s economy, home staging can help a listing stand out from the multitudes of other comparable homes in the neighborhood. After all, most home searches now begin on line and a staged home will always have better photos than an un-staged property!
The process of staging a real estate listing can result in a faster and more profitable sale. More than just decorating and de-cluttering, home staging is the process of maximizing the beauty and function of the home to help buyers see the full living potential.
Even if you aren’t selling you house, why not enjoy living in a home that LOOKS like a model but still feels like home? You don’t need to be moving to stage your space and you don’t need to spend a small fortune on a professional designer. Start by concentrating on the existing space and furnishings to reimage, redesign and rework the look and functionality of your room.
There are many reasons to re-design your space:
- You just got married and trying to blend your taste with your spouse’s style – this isn’t as easy as falling in love!
- Your children have moved out and you want to capitalize on the new space in your home – with YOUR style and not theirs.
- You recently upsized or downsized your home.
- You just want to update what you already have without spending a ton of money.
by Michelle Lynne will be hosting seminars at the DFW Home Improvement Show at the Dallas Convention Center in Dallas, Texas on Saturday, August 28th and Sunday, August 29th. Michelle will be discussing the differences as well as the benefits of “Staging To Sell” and “Staging To Live”. Catch her at 3pm on Saturday and noon on Sunday.

I think I need to learn how to use my camera a little better...the photos aren't so hot...but here is a clip of a project we finished recently:
You should make an appointment to see it in person...like I said, the photos aren't so great but the property is!

We're famous! Well...sort of.
And thanks to my friend Tom at Spectrum Printing, we had the prettiest booth of all the exhibitors:

(Seriously, if you need great quality printing with exceptional service, call and ask for Tom...isn't my banner just beautiful?! He created some beautiful pens & nametags for me too.)
ANYWAY, back to the famous part, right? My colleague, Dana (she is fabulous and is coming soon to the "About" page on my website) and I were just working away, visiting with all of the lovely women at the event and didn't even know we were being filmed by a local news crew. But obviously our beautiful booth just attracted the attention of the camera....
So check out the first few seconds of this clip: FOX NEWS.
My mom is so proud!
